SMS Bearing

SMS bearings (also known as SMS Siemag bearings) are a dedicated brand of bearings for metallurgical rolling mills under the German SMS Group. They are jointly developed by SMS Group and the world-renowned bearing manufacturer FAG, and are primarily used in the field of heavy equipment in the metallurgical industry, covering scenarios such as high-speed wire rod mills and bar production lines. This brand's products focus on the research and development of high-load, high-precision bearings, and are exclusively sold by authorized distributors to the global market. Some models can replace similar bearings such as Morgan bearings.
The product types cover over 20 categories, including rolling bearings, angular contact bearings, and outer spherical bearings. They are made of carbon steel and designed with standardized dimensions. The main body consists of components such as rings, rolling elements, and cages. The raceway design and contact angle parameters are optimized for extreme working conditions of rolling mills, capable of withstanding combined loads and featuring self-aligning capabilities. The core components are manufactured through precision machining processes, and auxiliary components such as sealing rings are provided to meet continuous operation requirements. Some high-speed wire rod mill bearings have a design speed of up to 135 meters per second, possess high temperature resistance, and are suitable for the high-speed production needs of metallurgical equipment. These bearings are actively circulated in the second-hand market, and several domestic recycling enterprises have long been engaged in the professional recycling business of their models (such as the 162250 series).
